Good evening family and friends!
Today was another good day. I got a lot of the swelling to go down in my ankles last night so it was easier to walk into treatment this morning.
I was at the hospital from 730am till about 2-2:30pm.
I did have a little bone pain in my ribs today but the pharmacist thinks it's from the spots/lesions I have in my bones rather than it being a side effect from that neulasta on-pro I had around Easter time. They said I shouldn't have any more side effects from the on-pro. They said my red and white blood count look good.
My blood pressure was a little high again today but they didn't seem concerned. I might have to keep an eye on that and let the Dr know if it gets real high, and see what she wants to do about it. I usually run normal to a little low.
I go in for my LAST CHEMO INFUSION TOMORROW and I am so unbelievably happy about it!!! So far, I have had 25 chemo infusions and tomorrow makes 26. That is so much chemo in a short amount of time. I started my first chemo treatment on February 24th. This experience has been such a crazy roller coaster ride. The way this "poison" as I call it, makes you feel and the way it just eats away at your body, is just insane. I don't ever want to experience this again, and I hope none of my family and friends have to go through it either. It is absolutely awful!
My check in time is at 8:10am tomorrow. I'll get my labs drawn and start infusion about an HR after that. It will be another long day. Nothing I can't handle 💪
I love you all dearly and I truly appreciate each and everyone of you guys. The thoughts and prayers are working!
I will update you guys tomorrow on how my last day of chemo goes!!! 💪
