Since Dad returned from the hospital late last week, his blood pressure has been a major issue. Also, his appetite did not return quickly. Against his wishes, he was force fed water and other goodies. Good news, his appetite has now resumed.
Bad news, low blood pressure issues persist. A few days ago Mom, Mindy and Tom Metcalf were helping him move around when blood pressure would drop. Last night, he passed out while sitting up. My mom lowered him down and quickly called an. Dad finally came to when the ambulance arrived. He did not enjoy the interrogation upon arrival.
Alas, they haven’t identified the cause so he will remain at the hospital until it is safe for him to come home.
Dad is doing remarkably well mentally. His positive attitude has been very inspiring.
