Hello! 

Just a quick update for you. It has honestly been hard to try to write to let you know what is going on. We are pretty discouraged and weary from the cancer treatments. Mike has been struggling with several side effects of the medication. We are trying to get things under control and keep him comfortable.  Our oncologist has taken him off the medication for a few days to give him a break. So we are doing a little better today. 

His main problem right now is severe pain in his left big toe. It has kept him awake at night for several nights. The lack of sleep has been hard on top of everything else. But we did get some relief last night from a new prescription. It seems like the problem is either a nerve issue or a circulation issue. We just need some help finding the right doctors to help us. Navigating the medical system has been very frustrating.

So here is how you can pray for us

Pray we will be able to have help in navigating to the correct doctors to help us find some answers to what is causing his pain and to find some solutions quickly. 

Pray as he starts back on the cancer medication (in a couple days) that he will be able to tolerate the drug and that it will do a very effective job in destroying the cancer in his body, but leaving him with a good quality of life.

Continue to pray for sleep and rest.
