Yesterday

When Michael woke up Monday morning, he took his oldest, Genevieve, to breakfast at Waffle House. It’s become a fun father/daughter outing. He’s been going to Vanderbilt pretty regularly for platelet transfusions and after Waffle House, he and Mike, his dad, headed to the hospital for what he thought was just another infusion day. It wasn’t. 

Michael’s white blood count was through the roof. He was admitted into the hospital and will begin another very aggressive chemo treatment starting today.

This afternoon, he will start a 24hour chemo drip. He is facing this cancer beast face to face now. He wants to fight as long as he can and we are right there with him, along with all the love, prayers, and support from all of you.
