Sorry it's been a stretch, over a week, that I have posted... It has been busy and every time I sit down to write at night it appears my brain has stopped working!  Sis in law Anna has turned me on to this moon juice sleep tonic that I am in love with, it definitely is doing it's job and relaxing me, almost too much! 

So Mark had a fun birthday!  He received so much love from all of you, he was frankly overwhelmed! Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes you sent (in case he missed a thank you!) Brad and Carolyn, the ice cream sandwiches are scrumptious (and endless!) 😍  Sperrys, same with the Luigi's ice!  Leave it up to Karen to find the lemon ice Mark so loved in the hospital!  Also the M's swag! 😍 John and Pam, it was wonderful seeing you, having a delicious meal and a great visit!  Mark loved the Tommy B. polo - the color is perfect! 😘  Sister Lisa, having you come spend time with us, spoil us with scrumptious treats, flowers and a fun shirt for Mark, couldn't have been any better! So thank you... 

We experienced a couple of firsts also recently.  Mark and I went to the Mariner game, that was fun, they didn't win, but it was a beautiful day and Mark managed around the park just fine!  😀 Mark, got the green light to drive!!! That is HUGE! 😎  He hasn't done a ton of it yet, but he has made a couple of trips outside of Issaquah... 

For some Glo fun, Tim and Britt treated me to the Justin Timberlake concert with Deane and Sheri!  That was a blast, he is one helluva showman! We had a wonderful time at dinner before the concert and then there was  the suite😍 But, honestly, it was so fun hanging out with such great fun friends😍

We also had a little visitor stay with us for a few days, sweet Stella, an 11 year old Frenchy, as sweet as can be and just a little cuddler!  😍 Mark found her to be rather adorable, except when she "tooted", then she was sweet and a little stinky Stella! (Funny, she only "tooted" in his direction 😂) 

Speaking of friends, Mark swore me to secrecy and he wanted to surprise the Cheney crew and company - which we did successfully!  (I wonder what the payback for lying to Carolyn will be 😂). So we went to the CWA baseball game against Bellevue Christian at Foss Highschool.  But first, Mark wanted to take me to the Lobster Shop, which when we got there, he realized, he couldn't enjoy 90% of the menu - which is seafood!(he can't do raw or undercooked!)  I got oysters and cioppino and he had French onion soup and a ceasar!

Anyway, those are just some highlights- other than that we have just been busy; Mark with all his medical appointments, PT and programs and me with the many "refresh" projects around the house I have now started and need to finish!  

Medically, things are stable and THANK THE GOOD LORD for that !  😍 Stable and boring are BEAUTIFUL!  At the moment the potassium and calcium are on the high side, but we know now how to make adjustments to his diet... 

I'll wrap it up for now...It's Mother's Day weekend -to all you Mom's out there - Happy Mother's Day to you, enjoy the beautiful weekend!!!  Oh and a little visual natural beauty for you.... The Northern lights were spectacular from our back deck at midnight last night...😍
