Good morning!!!

The time off has been great (it has been a little difficult to completely escape work). It was great to spend time with Jeff and Mary Martin. We had great conversations, great prayer and worship, great food, and great card games. The only thing missing was Cathy Naranjo!

Jeff and I went to the Yankee game Monday as we both share a deep affection for the Yankees and they happened to be playing in Baltimore. We had great seats, great parking, and had a great time. We found free parking near the stadium which was great but as we were walking the unlit streets of Baltimore, my mind kept shifting to The Wire, and paid parking sounded way better. The only thing that wasn't great was the Yankees lost 2-0.

I flew down to North Carolina and got to watch Luke's game. Luke has been hurt this season as his elbow is not healing and the pain keeps returning. It has been frustrating the last two seasons and he might be coming to the realization that the elbow may never heal properly without a lot more rest or surgery. We went to dinner and then Facetimed with Matthew Naranjo, Cathy, and Margo Naranjo. Margo is no longer throwing up like earlier this week but she appears to be in some discomfort, which is concerning.

I want to thank Lauren Tracey, Tyler Tracey, and Mighty Elijah for leading the prayer last night. It is so encouraging to see and hear the progress he is making. You can feel the rollercoaster the family is on- you get some great news and then something else pops up. Elijah was so great staring at his dad while he was singing, and staring at the camera. I love that we get to pray for him and their family. Tonight, the St. Frances Cabrini connection continues with Jim Beckman leading the prayer at 8:55 PM CDT/7:55 PM MDT on his Facebook page. Enjoy the picture of Margo Naranjo. God Bless You!!!
