First of all, thank you for your continued prayers and support. God is an awesome God, and He is still carrying me through this cancer journey.
I have started Keytruda immunotherapy and am tolerating it pretty well. There are a few side effects, but nothing crazy.
I have been having significant knee pain, and I am not completely sure of the reason. It “could” be the immunotherapy, but we aren’t certain.
Fluid is building up on my knees and causing pain when I sit, stand, walk…etc. I had an xray, no answers. Next, I’ll have an MRI. If they don’t see a reason there, then we’ll know it’s the immunotherapy. I will then stop the therapy to see if my knees get better…if they do, I will know for sure and decide how to proceed from there!
So, specific prayers:
- Continued prayer for low to no side effects from Keytruda!
- Answers to my knee pain!
- Guidance on how I should continue with my treatment!
- Continued prayer that my surgery goes well on Aug 1st!
