🏡 ... or as mom and dad always said after a family trip "Home again, home again, jiggety jig!" 🏡

Not only have mom and dad made it home safely despite severe weather warnings on the way from KU Med, but mom made it all the way up two flights of stairs to her bedroom! First time since March 3rd.

Prior to that she enjoyed time in her recliner visiting with grandson Cam and then time with Jana, Cala, Dad and I. She had the chance to sit on the back porch as the sun set and watched the crazy clouds in the sky. It was an eerie evening as far as the weather goes [a tornado was seen straight north of our town in Topeka], but it didn't put a damper on this sweet occasion of homecoming.

So much laughter filled the house this evening and such was perfect timing with tomorrow Dad's birthday.

Of course, after climbing those stairs she was exhausted at the top and was ready for bed. On the way up she didn't stop or break anywhere along the way. Pretty impressive after 8 weeks in hospital! She is a Patterson through and through.  The whole family simply amazes me!

As far as what awaits her this week... She will follow up with her doctor here in Burlington and will have labs pulled here in the next couple days to check her platelet level. 
Dialysis is scheduled for Friday afternoon in Emporia.

Home health has not been available but Praise the Lord that one of her previous nurses 😇 has agreed to come spend time with her a couple times a week so we can rest easier between office appointments and dialysis. 😍 Thank you so much for being the hands and feet of Christ. 🥰

God is so good to us; we are blessed beyond belief.

Good night, and thanks again for continuing to intercede on her behalf. Your prayers have uplifted us and sustained us. Mom's guardian angels have been protecting her so well. And Jesus Christ, who knows every hair on her head and loves her more than we do, sits at the right hand of the throne. Blessings are showering down from the Father of lights in whom there is no shifting shadow. He is the same today, tomorrow and ever more. We trust in Him and have faith that He has a plan and a purpose for all she has endured on this journey the past four years and what lies ahead in the coming days and weeks.
