Good morning!
I am waiting for my Physical Therapist to come this morning. It's been a rough few days with my right foot so swollen I can't apply weight to it. Anxious to get it under control. Having the double whammy on same leg has been tough and it certainly wears me out. I love to be mobile and doing things...like getting back to working at JUNKYARD and taking care of my clients! 
I am a caregiver at heart and having the tables turned on me has been difficult & eye opening.
I know we all have our own journey to navigate....I wasn't prepared emotionally for this last surgery and rehabilitation. This journey started just before my dear sweet Mom passed away unexpectedly last April..
I had some setbacks so surgery was postponed until end of July....3 more surgeries since and hospitalization for 3 weeks this past April. So.e days it feels like I struggle just to tread water and on my good days I accomplish enough to full my basket.
Living alone with these hurdles requires alot of praying & positive self talk to quell the tears and negative voices saying it seems ill never get better.... our bodies are complex and resilient but our brains....holy cow..you truly have to be aware of your MINDSET. 5 and a half years ago I quit smoking cold turkey. It was ALL a mental game...just don't give in!!
With my recovery now my MINDSET is a bit warbled but I know I am strong and have more willpower than most when I set my mind to something. I hope YOU are having a positive mindset today to accomplish whatever you set your mind to!!
