Thank you for your continued prayers and concern. I am healing very well from surgery and am back to being active again! Occasionally I experience sharp pains but those are healthy reminders of my nerves reawakening.

Last week I met with the radiation doctor to go over my DSICionRT. Based on the assessment, it is recommended I proceed with radiation therapy. Before knowing these final results, I had already decided to submit to the doctors’ expertise in this matter. So although I was hoping to not have to go this route, the Lord has prepared my heart.

In the next couple of weeks I will undergo some preliminary testing and preparations. The radiation will begin in the second half of June and will last for four weeks, five days each week. Please pray for the radiation to do its job and for my body to respond well with no adverse side effects.

The faithfulness of God has been evident throughout. He has given us markers along the journey that gives witness to His Lordship. One such marker has been all of the details He aligned in the timing of everything. I’m writing this while on vacation with our extended Byrom family, such perfect timing as I have a lull in my treatment. He cares for us and all the details of our lives.
