Journal
Hi All,
It's been awhile but we wanted to have actual news to update you all with.
First of all, Lexi is doing well!!! She has had/having some bumps in the road BUT we have or are currently working through them with Children's Hospital and Mayo Clinic. Some new appointments and scans have come up because of these.
She is keeping active and has been asked to start Rehab PT to help with healing and building muscle back. Lexi and her friend Kennedee are both unable to participate in Softball this year so together, they are cheering from the side lines!!! During her healing process and online schooling...she pushed herself even in a different way and recieved her Permit 🤪!!
Lexi is anemic again (unsure of why at the moment) and is back to taking something to help. She ended up with an infection back in February but was treated with antibiotics and has been good ever since.
The BIG news....at her 3 month appointment at Children's yesterday, Lexis CA-125 levels are officially down to a 16!!!! This is good news compared to her first few CA-125 checks!! We will not know any other details until we meet with her Gynecologist Oncologist at her 6 month appointments in July at Mayo but felt this is some GREAT news to be able to share! Lexi amazes us EVERYDAY with her strength.
Words cannot express how grateful and blessed we are to have family, friends, our community and many people we have never even met for all of the prayers, love and support. We Thank You!
