We received the results of my SCANS yesterday. The tumor has significantly shrunk!  The doctors were extremely satisfied with the results! So we give all the glory to God. The radiation is still very active and getting a clearer look will have to wait till the next set of SCANS in 90 days. But at this point the doctors are very pleased with the results. We take that as an answer to prayer.

I truly felt you prayer warriors storming the gates of heaven in my behalf. Oh, the power of prayer and hope!  We move forward from here. I need to gain weight and get my jaw to open. I need more exercise ever day. God gave me a new bounce in my step. My new road to recovery is now ahead of me.  My family members are cheering me on as I move through and navigate the changes that are yet to come because of the long term impact radiation has had on the body. But, for my family and my Lord, I will fight the  good fight. We pray for strength and perseverance as we travel this road together.

I want to thank my three children for taking time out of their busy schedules to drive all the way down to Rochester to be with Marilyn and me. They wanted to be with us when the SCAN results were presented. The joy on all our faces was so special see and share together. I will be forever grateful for having all five of us stuffed in a small  examination room waiting together. They did that just for their dad. My heart is full. God is the center of our family.
