Laiven’s Story

Dear Family and Friends,

On August 24th, we took Laiven to the emergency room with what we thought was severe anemia.  After many labs and tests, she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia which was a surprise to all of us.  Laiven began her first round of chemo on Saturday morning, August 25th and will continue treatment for the next several months here in Lubbock.  


Thank you for visiting our CaringBridge website.  We will be using it to keep family and friends updated in one place as Laiven begins her fight against Leukemia.  We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement.

Hi everyone!  
I just wanted to update you on Laiven’s Doctor’s appointment.
Her counts are good, which is a Praise The Lord🙌!
Praise the Lord for the Healing we have seen in Laiven’s body.  Praise God for her strength, her zest for life, and her Attitude.
Praise God for the friends who have stuck by her through this unbelievable life Journey.
Thank you for every thought and every Prayer.  We continue to Pray for each of you too.  God knows our needs.  
God Bless our families, our Country and our world. Praying God uses our circumstances for His will only, fighting satan and evil every step of the way.
Asking and asking again for cures for cancer, and horrible diseases that affect our families.  Prayers for every doctor and every nurse.  
Wow you’ve created AMAZING PEOPLE!  Faithful and Prayerful in knowing that, despite all of the evil we hear and see, Good People far out-way the bad!  Reveal the evil, Lord, Bless the good!
Please be with our friends and family members hurting.  We continue to ask and ask for “NeverAgain!”
