Danielle's parents and the kids drove to Ann Arbor yesterday to visit and surprise Danielle for Mother's Day.  It was wonderful to see them and for them to be with their mom.

The doctors discussed my drain options today and determined not to move, adjust, or add a drain. 😅 
We will have two IV antibiotics for the bone infection that I'll get infused through my port at home over six weeks.  The plan is to discharge tomorrow and drive to Grand Rapids for training on the home infusions.  I will also get weekly bloodwork and if things don't improve or get worse we'll change the plan.  The pain may take 2-3 weeks to come down, but hopefully the infection is gone after the six week antibiotic infusion.  It is good to have a plan now and to be going in the right direction.
