Surgery went as expected.

Thankfully, the cancer was isolated to the pelvic region and showed very little spreading in that region. As a preventive measure, the Doctor decided to take the lymph nodes in addition to completing the full hysterectomy. 

As you can imagine, it is pretty difficult for her to enjoy these fine accommodations at Rex. She has a lot of pain to work through, but at least she is on the path to recovery. She was able to eat some eggs and apple sauce for breakfast and we just finished up her 3rd "walk of the hall tour".
