Helloooooo Team Kimmy,

First, we want you to know that Kim continues to feel strong and to fight!

We have been radio silent for far too long. It's been a busy (but very fun!) month+ 😊

We had a few dear college/AF/sorority friends in for Derby Week and are full of gratitude for our time together. Love and hugs are the best medicine!

Then Kim rolled into Chemo treatment week #7. After finishing the 3rd med and the pump was removed, we took a whirlwind trip to Richmond for our niece’s graduation from VCU with her MSW (way to go, Brooks!). Our kiddos, Gabi and Greg (& his gf, Jenny), were also able to join in the fun. It was great to see and celebrate with family! More love and hugs! We stopped in at UVA for a quick stay and to see more special friends while celebrating another graduation (congrats to Gage!). We walked the beautiful Grounds and had a wonderful visit. More love and hugs with lifelong friends!

We then rolled into PGA golf championship week (just down the road from here at Valhalla). Many NJ KC-10/AF friends, along with Emilie (Todd’s sister) and Joe (Kim’s dad), came to town for an exciting, long weekend. Gabi came home to join in the fun, too! (She still had 2 finals and a paper to finish the week after, but she did it... she is now officially a college senior!) Greg and Jenny were still in town, as well. Top Golf, real golf, a dinner party (THANK YOU, gracious Brace family!), bourbon tours, and dinner in Louisville were capped off with PGA Championship Sunday...culminating with watching a thrilling birdie putt at 18 to win the whole thing! More love, hugs, and special memories.

Then, Kim had her 8th treatment cycle. This was significant because scans and bloodwork to check her status comes next. We went to MD Anderson again last week, and are in the middle of processing all the updated information and potential way ahead.

Meanwhile our Team Kimmy Texas Chapter shuttled us, fed us and, again, gave us much love and many hugs. S/O to chapter president and fellow WSHS Spartan Melinda Howe Hickey. Again, lots of love and hugs.

We are loving the Team Kimmy pics and messages from chapters all over the country and the globe (yes, we have an international chapter, too!) Your trips to monasteries, missionaries, and gorgeous churches to light candles, pray, and ask for healing are incredible and so appreciated! Many fabulous pics, regular messages, calls & cards to check in, and all the love, continue to pour in and lift us/Kim up! Our cups are full and we are blessed and filled with gratitude for all of you on Team Kimmy! Thank you so much for the continued love, hugs, support, prayers, positivity, good vibes, messages, and gifts!

Next up: we have more visitors on the way...looking forward to MORE Team Kimmy love & hugs, support, prayers, positive thoughts and vibes, which lift Kim up every single day. Forever grateful and with a full heart: we send love & hugs your way, too, and continue to pray for all of you and your loved ones!
