This has been called a journey by many people. Two days ago was our six-month date. Six months in. On this journey, I can say we are most definitely still moving forward. Every day is different .... that’s a fact. It’s a journey not just made by Kory. It’s a journey our entire family is making. When you move away from something horrific,The journey begins. From day one, week one, month one, all the way till now six months. Such progress, such pride we feel for our son and Alyx and Bryce feel for their brother. For our oldest and youngest son ..... Deep immense pride. With that said, we know we will make it to the other side..... but we are not there yet. I cannot thank the people in our life enough. This journey hasn’t been without help.

One week from today, we have our six month appointment with the original surgeon from Osf. I’m so anxious for him to see Kory‘s progress. He’s gaining muscle mass in his arms and shoulders. He is so strong it is simply unbelievable!His pain is still there, he still takes nothing for it, but it isn’t as bad as it was last week or the week before or the week before that. But it is still constant and that is nagging.

Sorry it’s been a while since I posted an update, I’ll be better about that.
