Journal
The last two days have been a bit of a struggle for me. I've had some lady-problem side effects, and they are not fun. I'll just leave it at that. As a result of that and my possible imagination getting ahead of me due to some test numbers, I allowed myself a couple of days to freak out, cry, indulge my fears, and purge myself of all of this.
I've had a couple of big wins though. First, eating. Glorious eating! Fruits for breakfast. Cooked vegan meal (50/50 plate - half non-starchy veg and half starchy) for lunch. My favorite raw salad for dinner with a raw homemade ranch dressing (arugala, mixed greens, broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, apple, sweet tomato, and crunchy rice "croutons"). It feels good to eat yummy, healthy food!
I also had a nice visit from my niece who lives in Tennessee. She came to St. Louis, and I am so glad we had a chance to catch up. See picture (left, Kaley my niece; right, Alia my daughter).
I've also been able to health-bounce on the Rebounder for about 15 minutes for the last few days. A health-bounce is where you do a bounce in place by jumping up and down with your feet staying put on the Rebounder. It isn't much but for me, to feel well enough to do anything is a plus and a win.
This week I start an online, one week class that is a guided doodle class for expressing one's emotions. I have the art supplies and look forward to this learned outlet. ❤️
