Hi Friends and Family--I'm running the 2024 New York City Marathon and raising funds to support the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. It's a big birthday year and I am feeling healthy after a life-changing 2023, so there is no better year like this to run my first-ever marathon!

Colorectal cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer and the second leading cause of cancer death in men and women in the United States. In 2024 alone, nearly 150,000 people will be diagnosed and 53,200 could die from this disease. That's six people every hour. 

Through screening programs, care resources, and research towards a cure, the Colorectal Cancer Alliance is working to change those statistics.
