Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful mamas out there! Today marks the 2 year anniversary (actual day in 2022 was 5/8/22) of when we took Josh to the Mayo ED and found out he had leukemia. Wow, that day seems like yesterday in some ways, and yet a lifetime ago as well. But this year is a reminder of how grateful I am to to be celebrating Josh's health this Mother's Day instead of what we went thru 2 years ago. Thank you Lord!

We are beyond joyful to report that Josh continues to do well. He had his 3 month f/up appointment this past Tuesday and all continues to look great. He gained over 9 kg so he is pretty much back to his pre-leukemia weight. He is completely off all post transplant medication. You would never know by looking at him what he has gone through.  Thank you Jesus!

He has enjoyed his last year of high school playing tennis and hanging out with friends and his girlfriend. It is so wonderful to see him experiencing a "normal" year after all he endured. Some big events these past few months was a trip to OH to see the solar eclipse, his 18th birthday, prom, and a sturgeon fishing trip that was gifted to him by the MN Outdoor Adventure Foundation. Life has been super busy with activities and planning for graduation, but we are incredibly grateful to be where we are today. Thank you for keeping Josh & our family in your prayers these past two years and celebrating this huge milestone with us.
