Beloved Ahern Army,

I think I can speak for all those who were able to attend John's visitation and attend/watch his funeral, both were absolute holy and beautiful tributes that gave glory to God and honored John so well. Every decision and choice made by Jan and the family truly reflected their love of God and their love for John.

We will continue praying the rosaries on zoom every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 8 pm MT (link located on "Ways to Help" tab on the CaringBridge site). We have built an incredible tradition and community over the past 14+ months so we will continue to pray for comfort and peace for Jan and all the family.

When going through such a painful time like this, one often asks how those without faith in a living God get through such times. We are blessed that Jesus promised to be with us - even until the end of time. There is a song called "See You in the Eucharist" that beautifully reminds us that all of heaven is present to us when we are in the presence of the Eucharist - including the angels and the Saints. May the lyrics of this song bring you RADICAL comfort and hope and help you to "see" John again in every Eucharistic experience!
