Journal entry by Linda Fitzgerald —
Here we are, 2+ years into Joe’s recovery.
At this point, many of you have seen and/or been with Joe and witnessed how well he is doing.
Looking back, we were originally told that we would see the most improvement in the first 2 years after Joe’s accident. And of course, that was true. However we continually see remarkable changes in Joe’s daily life. One kind friend said it’s because of all of the activities we have lined up for Joe. But Joe is truly the rock star we all know & love.
Joe’s very busy schedule (with us):
Monday is life skills.
Tuesday is companion care and personal training.
Wednesday is music therapy.
Thursday is speech and counseling.
Friday is companion care and personal training.
We relax on the weekends, lol.
Thank you for following along on our journey.
Much love,
The Fitz 5
xoxo
