Journal entry by Joe Rodriguez —
Dear family and friends,
I am so grateful for your prayers and support. I take nothing for granted. This June 16 th will be the one year anniversary of my brain surgery and next Monday I will start my 9th month of Chemo. I take chemo By pills 5 Days a month. I had some nausea the first two months but am now having sleep
Issues but I can deal With that. I am serving again as an elder of Standing Stone Bible Church and expectTo resume jail ministry soon. One of my
Elder Tasks is To find other outreach ministry opportunities in the community. I can do that! I’ve contacted several agencies and they all want us to provide Bible studies, prayer and musicFor
Their residents. It is exciting to see God opening doors! So far these agencies are offering us access for volunteer activities:
1. Marquis Retirement Community
2. Hope Lodge offering lodging for long term
Cancer patients receiving treatment at local hospitals
3. Assure Women’s Center with several locations offering counseling and ultrasound for
Women Seeking To Terminate Pregnancy
4 Sarpy County Jail Men’s and Women’s Bible Studies
5. Lastly pray for open Doors To do CEF Good News Clubs for students in local Schools
To God be the
Glory
