Rio Texas Annual Conference begins tomorrow morning. It is the yearly conference where pastors and lay members join together to discuss business items of the church and celebrate the great ministries of our regional area. I look forward to seeing my people who I have been in ministry with over the last 19 years. When I was in the hospital, one of my goals was to make it to annual conference to be with my colleagues. Well yesterday I cancelled our reservation after a couple of days of some sharp pain. I have felt much better today, however we have decided not to push it. I will miss being there, however I am grateful for the work to be accomplished and the representation of NW Hills UMC. Look forward to being back next year.
