Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.
We have high expectations for 2020 for Jim's recovery and for our family.
He is healing great from the crainioplasty in November. He had the staples removed and a CT scan. There is another follow-up in January.
Jim moved on Dec 21st from Dulles H&R to Mount Vernon Healthcare Center on 'Tis Well Drive in Alexandria. He is in room 215.
Milestones we are looking forward to seeing the first quarter of 2020:
1. Smiling!😊 
2. Speaking!
3. Relief from contracture of his R hand and foot.
4. Sitting up on his own!
5. Great haircut and shave!
6. Gaining weight and muscle!
He has already gained a pound since arriving at Mt. Vernon and is up to 156 lbs.
He can communicate some by shaking his head. When we were there on New Years, Liv turned the Twilight Zone Marathon on for him. It was kind of noisy and I asked him if he wanted me to turn it off. He shook his head, "No".
