One year ago today you all joined Jim and I on an incredibly tough journey. He’s made such a miraculous recovery sometimes it’s hard to think about how far we’ve come.
You all know the details of the accident and how bad it was.
Today we’re focused on all the positive things that have happened since that fateful morning.
The doctors, surgeons and physical therapists performed miracles on Jim’s shattered wrists. All the metal is out, he’s done with PT and with the exception of arthritis (which is a roofers affliction) his wrist mobility is awesome.
The injuries he sustained are all but gone. The Tramic Brain Injury is still a work in progress but he’s working so hard and is still getting better.
He is happy to be alive, his out look on life is decidedly more positive and tolerant. We are both very happy and while we still have a little way to go, we are absolutely grateful for everyone who is reading this!!
We head to Florida for a little getaway next week, and are so lucky to have our little piece of heaven in Wellsboro.
