Today is surgery day! The plan has changed a bit. Due to changes from radiation, my surgeon would prefer to only do the mastectomy and reconstruction and wait to operate on the other breast. She thinks the results will be better in the long run. This does, however, mean that another surgery is in my future. It will most likely be next spring after chemotherapy is finished. 

I'm slightly disappointed as I liked the thought of having only one surgery versus two, but I trust my doctor. Besides, when I make it through this one, number two will be a breeze.

Caleb and I had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in Mexico. We enjoyed the sun and I even let the girls say goodbye!

Surgery should last most of the day. I will post an update as soon as I'm awake enough (which won't be until tomorrow at the earliest). Thank you for all the love, messages, and prayers! I'll see you on the other side!
