Greetings to you all!

The last month has been a whirlwind of appointments, scans and blood tests. As things stand now, Jerry's stem cell transplant is a go for next week to treat the MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome). 

On a positive note after 2 1/2 months of not being treated for his myeloma, his cancer has not progressed.

Once admitted at Brigham and Women's (BWH) on May 29th, he'll be there till June 25th. I'll be staying down there at Longwood Inn (Thanks to Fisher House) just a block away to be able to support Jerry. I'll be coming home Thursday-Fridays to do errands, laundry, and water plants etc. 

Once discharged he'll be in recovery status for 100 days with weekly follow-ups at Dana Farber. His immune system will be completely wiped out so there will be eating and environmental restrictions. The deck is ready for an occasional visitor. Just contact us ahead of time. 

I will be doing updates to keep you all informed.

The pictures are of the healing garden at Dana Farber and a fun visit to the Ordione Science Center with our grandson in April.

Again, this has been an amazing journey but we feel so blessed by having an incredible medical team, support from the International Myeloma Foundation team, our family, and friends. Your prayers, cards, phone calls, meals, and hugs have made all of the difference in the success of Jerry's journey. We trust in God's power of strength and healing to help us along this journey.
