Welcome to Jerry’s CaringBridge Site
Sign In to Show Your SupportGreetings Everyone,
Monday we got the word that the stem cell transplant (SCT) has been canceled for now. There is myeloma activity on his rib and the team at Dana Farber felt that it would be safer for Jerry to delay the SCT. The team down in Boston will continue to work on a plan for the best course of action for now. Tomorrow we will have a video conference with our leukemia oncologist.
This is for sure a setback because we are dealing with two issues, the myeloma and MDS. Both lower blood counts as does chemotherapy. With this said, we are not sure what the viable options will be moving forward.
We are confident that our 4 oncologists will come up with the best plan possible.
We ask that you keep Jerry in your prayers for strength....both physical and spiritual. This was a hard one to swallow.
On another note, I have put together a book showcasing some of the wonderful works of nature that God has blessed us with. I hope you enjoy it. Here is the link for it https://www.mixbook.com/photo-books/interests/a-healing-journey-34746480?vk=F1D6DT7Ut5ox54i24XMF
We will keep you updated as the plan evolves. Thank you for your continued prayers.
I will close with my favorite Bible verse that keeps me going no matter what is unfolding.
13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Blessings to you all,
Jill and Jerry
