Praise Report! Jerred finished his treatments a few weeks ago and we received the results from his PET scan yesterday. The results indicated that he had no uptake and had no signs of cancer!!! His tumor is gone and all looks clear!!! He received the lowest rating on the scale, which means he will need to be scanned every 3 months for a year to watch for any secondary cancer. We have a follow up with our doctor on Monday which will give us the official “remission” status, we just couldn’t wait to share the good news! Jerred has crossed the finish line of this race! Awards ceremony and ringing of the bell will take place on Monday!
Thank you all so much for your prayers and support, they were answered. When we started this, Jerreds original scan in Novemeber was not good, classified as stage 4 and the doctor gave us a 55% rating at a full recovery by the end of his treatment. God heard us cry and He responded. He is good, faithful, loving and compassionate! Not just because He provided at the end, but because He held us this entire time. The home stretch of this race was mentally and emotionally exhausting. God provided us with strength and hope that we hung onto the entire time. Through all of you, God reminded us of how loved and supported we are! We could not be more grateful for the community around us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕
Prayer requests- please pray that the appointment on Monday goes well and Jerred gets the full remission status. Please pray that Jerreds back pain will stay minimal and that we can find ways to help him have a full recovery there as well. Please pray that this cancer will be fully gone and not come back!!
