Jerred’s Story

Site created on November 16, 2023

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement thus far.  Jerred was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma on Friday, November 10th.  We know that this is a small cell b cell lymphoma with a large cell transformation.  He also suffered a compression fracture to his T5 and this pain from the fracture led him to the ER at Doylestown Hospital and then eventually led to a transfer to Jefferson Hospital in center city.  Jerred had multiple biopsies complete and also a kyphoplasty to repair the fracture in his T5.  We were discharged from Jefferson on November 18th.  Jerred will be undergoing radiation starting on December 4th and chemotherapy will begin a few weeks after that is completed.  We will be posting all updates below.  We appreciate all the love, support and prayers!

Journal entry by Anna Snow

Quick answer to prayer! Jerreds doctor confirmed today that he does NOT have another compression fracture in his L5 and it was a typo on his PET scan! Very frustrating process but we are grateful for this positive news in the end!

Thank you all for the prayers and support!
