Journal entry by Jennifer Hall —
Hello everyone - it is so nice to see the sun out and be able to get outside. Hopefully we have a nice spring and can enjoy the weather! 😎 I am feeling a lot better now that I have started my new type of chemo. There are fewer side effects and I am able to get out and about more. So nice! The treatments are not very fun - because this chemo can lead to neuropathy, I wear freezer packs on my hands and feet during the infusion. Very cold! 🥶 That part is awful. But other than that I cannot complain. Fatigue is still an issue - and I have a feeling I will continue to wear down more as these treatments continue. 2 down, 10 to go....
Now for the bad news. It has been a stressful week. My mom has developed some health issues - she should be coming home from the hospital today. We have some obstacles ahead of us but she is a strong, resilient woman so I am optimistic she will be getting better soon. Please add her to your thoughts and prayers. 🙏
