Thank you to all who responded to my need for prayer. I was sinking fast and just like the snap of a finger, God halted my sliding. I just reconnected with Ron Howe, a friend of my father first but always an influence in my life. He used to council me on various matters concerning life. One time he challenged me to allow myself to quiet my whole self, outside, but mostly inside. And to listen to the questions that seem to appear out of thin air within myself. And then search to discover the answers to those inquiries. It was great catching up with him and knowing that his desire to stay in touch with me was met with mutual enthusiasm. As people age, it seems that fewer people engage the senior citizenry.

COVID seemed to draw out a lot of negative emotions. Many lost contact with the body of Christ and the sweet fellowship that belongs to the redeemed of The Lord. The enemy was able to pit brother against brother and sister against sister. Many in the body of Christ are suffering from lack of spiritual nutrition. The body of Christ has the resources conglomerately meet each other's needs. Proverbs reminds us that if we will refresh others, we ourselves will be refreshed. Jesus said if we give onto others it shall be given unto us, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will The Lord give unto us. Most Americans have physical sustenance but lack Koinonia (Participating fellowship). We've lost the art of Christ-like hospitality, which feeds and nourishes the soul and the spirit. Give and it shall be given unto you. Invite a true brother or sister in Christ over to your house again, share with them the Bread of Life, feast on Word Of God which also is The Word of God become flesh. Pray for each others needs. Praise The Lord together. Forgive those who've done you wrong and take out the trash out of your heart. We need to do spring cleaning in our heart by confessing the sin of  un-forgiveness or anything that masquerades in our heart as acceptable defiance. Confess your faults one to another and He (being Christ) will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. I think the lack of spiritual awakening is being withheld because of unrepentant hearts. Oh the mouth praises Jesus but the heart disobeys His commands to flush out the smell of un-forgiveness and bitterness and fill our hearts with the sweet smell of the sacrifice of Christ Jesus forgiveness. Our fellowship is in Christ and Christ alone. We have no other unifying familiar ties. We must revive the principles and commands of Christ in our heart and life to experience the former days of God's presence in our life. The general assembly of gathered believers has launched out on many paths contrary to the Way, The Truth.,and The Life. Apostle Paul warned against becoming shipwrecked in the rocks of this world's goods and treasures. Israel lost the Ark of The Covenant because they assumed that if they brought the Ark into the battle they were engaged in That God Jehovah was obligated to help them

 But if we study the passage closer we find that The Lord did not go up with them and the sons of Eli were killed and the Ark was captured and brought to the camp of the Philistines. God refused to go with His people because they refused to follow Him.  Maybe the lack of God's presence in our life and churches is because of us and not The Lord. Humble yourself therefore in the sight of The Lord and in due time He shall exhalt you. There are many beloved brothers and sisters in Christ, now is the time to come together. It's the time to coalesce. Time to bury the hatchet and walk the way of Christ while abandoning the way of our flesh. Sin separates us from Christ and each other so then, obedience to Christ unites the children of God. Adam sinned and the resulting separation kept us in bondage until Christ unfettered the believers.
