The great news from here is that Jean-Pierre is released from the bondage of living in our bedroom! The two-week isolation period is up and we are both now free to live together -- all over the house! What a step forward. Now he and I have the next challenge: Jean-Pierre regaining strength and mobility, which, according to the experts in this area depends primarily on the combination of diligent  daily exercise and a cooperative body that can respond effectively to the challenges of rebuilding muscle. The scar itself has already healed and looks great. So hopefully that is a portend of other capacities to rebuild and recover tissue. We are both really hopeful.

Thank you all for your wonderful support and loving messages over the past weeks. We hope you know how meaningful and heartwarming they are.  I’ll leave this website open in order to post an occasional entry if there is any news to report, but, for the time, we wish you good spirits, bon courage and bonne continuation in these challenging times.
