I know it has been a while since I have posted. To be completely honest, it’s been a rough few weeks for me. I started the fevers I get before the stents got replaced so glad that happened last week. Then had to start back on chemotherapy which has really knocked me out. The doctors were concerned the cancer hadn’t been treated since February and put me back on the chemo. I hate it! But no choice really. It’s been a year now since this began and it sometimes feels like so little progress has been made. But I have to remain thankful it hasn’t gotten a lot worse either. I did a CT scan last week in Houston at MDA so I am anxious to hear about those results. Don’t think I will until next week though.
Sunday I head back to Houston to go get all the evaluations for a liver transplant. Praying I pass those tests and we can get a donor quickly. I am so ready to get this done! I will know the following week I think if I qualify and will let you all know! Thanks for the thoughts, prayers, texts, calls, and cards. It does make this easier.
