Isola’s Story

Site created on January 10, 2024

Isola Grace, age 5,  has been diagnosed with Juvenile Myelomonocytic Leukemia (JMML).
This rare and serious form of Leukemia will require Isola to have a bone marrow transplant.
Thank you for praying, supporting and encouraging the Erskine family as they navigate this
journey.
Click on the "Ways to Help" button in the purple bar at the top of the page to learn ways you can help support the

Journal entry by Mallory Riggs

Isola had a radiation treatment Tuesday and
received cells from a cord blood donor this afternoon (Wednesday). Bailey says everything went as planned!
Because the cells are small, they will take longer to grow. Doctors said to expect 21 days before we see numbers rise.
So for now we wait and we pray.
God is sustaining the whole family and giving them His “peace that passes all understanding.”
