At 11:30 pm, his phone was turned off or destroyed and hasn’t pinged since. 

We know that he was texting with an out of state number between 8:30 and 11:30 that night. The last text to that number was at 11:30, just before the phone was turned off. The only reasonable conclusion is that he was picked up by a car within a 12 minute walking distance of his house. 

This means that YOU might hold the next clue to finding him in your Ring doorbell footage (or any other doorbell or security camera footage you might have). Most Ring cameras by default save video detecting motion nearby. 

PLEASE check your video footage for two things:

Tuesday January 30 between 4 pm and 7 pm: Check for Martin walking past your house. He went for a walk Tuesday afternoon between 4 pm and 7 pm. It is very possible he was planning his path for that night, so any footage you have of him walking will be very useful in narrowing down where he might have been picked up. 

Tuesday January 30 between 11 pm and midnight: Check for Martin walking past your house OR the car that might have picked him up. He would most likely be walking between 11:18 and 11:30. The car might have arrived at wherever the pickup spot was as early as 11 and would have waited there until 11:30.
