HOME today, A landmark to remember.  After a week in ICU and more than three weeks on third floor rehab we are home.  I thought rehab was next thing to a nursing home but I was wrong. There are highly trained staff mostly RNs who gave excellent care.  The Therapists again were excellent and we could see daily improvement in strength and demeanor.We grew attached to many of them. Our congregation and neighbors pitched  in and helped in so many ways, from fixing the tractor,to mowing,checking cattle, singing, bringing food,and supporting in so many ways.  Best of all the prayers from coast to coast,bearing us up during the dark times.  We are grateful to God who preserved life and that it will be without disability .
