We have had the best day, yet! We get to GO HOME tonight! He has finished his last antibiotic and he will have his UVC (umbilical line) removed and we need to stay for 4 hours for observation. After that, we are homeward bound. Happy tears are flowing in this NICU. It’s been a long, scary road but Gunnar was an absolute warrior through it all.
