Gunnar Wayne Halverson was born Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Sheldon, IA via C-section and weighed in at 6 lbs 11oz. 
After a night in Sheldon it was determined he would have to be transferred to the NICU in Sioux Falls, SD.

We have had the best day, yet! We get to GO HOME tonight! He has finished his last antibiotic and he will have his UVC (umbilical line) removed and we need to stay for 4 hours for observation. After that, we are homeward bound. Happy tears are flowing in this NICU. It’s been a long, scary road but Gunnar was an absolute warrior through it all. 

your prayers and love have gotten us through and we are so so thankful for each and everyone of you.
