Grant received his third dose of immunotherapy last week. We met with our oncologist to review his latest MRI before therapy. Unfortunately, the spot is growing. The doctor said this was not necessarily bad as with radiation and current immunotherapy he would expect it to look like this. There also was a new spot around the surgical area that showed up. He said this could have been there microscopically and just flared up due to the treatment working. They will continue to do MRIs to monitor the area. The treatment days are very long.  Between the labs, doctor appointment and infusions we are there for most of the day.  He is tired the next day and continues to be fatigued the following week.

We were able to take a trip to Vegas last month.  We  went to Exotics Racing. Grant and Gilbert both got to drive a Shelby Mustang. Grant also drove a Ferrari and a Porsche. The Ferrari was definitely his favorite. Max did a ride along with a professional driver.  Cale, Denise and I were happy to just watch. Grant and his parents also  toured the Shelby museum.  Grant, Cale and Gilbert had booked a trip to skydive.  Unfortunately, the wind didn't cooperate so it got cancelled  as they were on the ground waiting to go up.  So back on the bucket list it goes.

A few weeks ago we took a short trip to MN. We attended the Boys and Girls club fundraiser downtown Minneapolis. A few of his friends are on the board and we are so grateful to always be invited. He had a great time with lots of old Deloitte coworkers/friends.  The money goes to a great cause.  We got to hear from lots of kids on how the Boys and Girls Club has changed their lives.

We also celebrated my parent's  65 wedding anniversary! My whole family was there. We also got to spend time with Grant's sister Melissa many nieces and nephews, our Goddaughter Olivia and friends.

We are planning lots of fun things this summer.  Grant will continue immunotherapy every 28 days.

God bless you all and thanks for your continued prayers.
