Gloria Jean Peterson (Murphy), age 72, passed away September 22, 2023 peacefully with her daughter by her side at Our Lady of Peace Hospice Care Center. Cancer took her life too soon.
Gloria was born November 22, 1950 to John and Leona Murphy. She grew up in St Paul's Frogtown neighborhood with her sisters and brother. She married to Arnold Peterson Jr, May 1, 1968.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her son Jeffery Peterson. She is survived by her sisters Ann Murphy and Mary Murphy, brother Patrick (Christine) Murphy, her daughter Christine Bennett, grandchildren Erin Bennett, Benny Bennett, Brittney Andersen and her mother Joy, as well as many other loving family and friends.
