We made it home ok Tuesday afternoon.  Gary doesn't sleep for too long at a time yet, because of some pain and discomfort with his colostomy site, especially if he's moving around in his sleep.  It's healing though, so that should improve quite a lot as time goes on.

He has a followup appointment next Wednesday in Sioux Falls, so we should learn then more about when he can go back to work, thinking 4-6 weeks.  The hope is to have the ostomy reversed with another surgery in approximately 3 months.  

For now, we are thankful to be home, grateful for all the support and blessed by all your thoughts and prayers!
