Hello To Everyone!
It has been a while since our last update.  I was trying to give Gary a little time to get back into a day to day routine, learn how to eat and eat the right things, and not focus on the one step forward two step back healing process! Gary has been through so much in the last year and without all of the prayers that were sent to us and God's Guiding and Healing Hand I know the turn out would have been so difficult!  Thank You for all of your prayers, help, rides, meals, money, gift cards, calls, hugs, and support!  I have great news and wanted to share it will everyone!

Gary is doing Great, his throat and stomach are healing wonderfully, eating can be a little trickier than before because he still has problems just slowing down and eating and swallowing is a little different but he is learning and doing better everyday!  A few months ago we were told that it looked as though he had prostate cancer also.  This was put on the back burner until the stomach cancer was removed and treatments were over.  So Tuesday Gary had a prostate biopsy done and today they called and said he did not have any cancer in his prostate!  NO CANCER!! These are the BEST Words a person can hear!  God Is Great!

A few weeks ago, after Gary's last Chemo Treatment, we were leaving the Doctors Office and Gary sat down on a bench and broke down.  I wasn't sure what to say but he looked up at me and with that awesome smile, he said, "I have never been so scared, never prayed so hard, never not understood what was going on with my body for what seemed like so long!  That pretty much puts into words what I'm sure every cancer patient goes through!

Gary does not have any tubes left except for his port and they usually leave that in until after a clear pet scan report.  Gary will go in for a pet scan on August 16th!  For the rest of our lives we will continue to Thank God and All Of You for giving Gary & I the support we needed to to get through the last year of his fight against cancer!  Please let us know if we can ever help any of you! Life throws some curves at us sometimes but we always tried to remember that every moment is a new moment and everyday is a chance for a new beginning and a brighter day than the day before!

Again Thank You For All Your Prayers and Support!
Gary & Angie
