Gabe recently had another MRI.  This one marked six months out from the completion of the rounds of radiation for the tumor.

The results of this scan were similar to the one three months ago in showing no growth in the tumor and maybe some very slight shrinkage.  This is about as good as we could reasonably hope for.

On the more sobering side, the reality of the possibility of the tumor’s regrowth was affirmed by the schedule the oncologists outlined for future MRI’s. For the rest of this year, they want to schedule an MRI every three months, for the next year, every four months, for the following year, every five months, and then settle into every six months.
