Erin’s Story

Site created on March 5, 2024

Erin is recovering from a large ischemic stroke in the right hemisphere of her brain. She underwent a craniotomy to allow her brain to heal safely.

We have a long road ahead, her determination and drive will be on display as she begins to heal.

Journal entry by Cheryl Franco

Today around 4:40 pm a tornado erupted just west of Mom and Dad's house.  The pasture/trees received damaged as well as the machine shed.  The funnel went just north of the house and shed a long Westmoreland Road.  Sadly, the tornado destroyed 22 homes and 13 others were recoverable in our little town that's not made of many homes.

Our hearts are very heavy tonight for our town and families we've known our entire life.

This network and community has helped us in our hard days, asking for Erin's friends and followers to pray for them in the coming days and weeks.
