Emma Duke is resting at her home away from home. She's a bit frustrated she can't swim again for another 2 weeks, but we are pleased her port is in place and working!
As the family continues to navigate we have become aware that many think Emma Duke is receiving the CaringBridge tributes, but they exclusively support the CaringBridge platform. A wonderful organization that lets us communicate about her journey.
With that said we cannot begin to thank every one of you for the continued prayers, constant love and vast support. No one ever prepares for a life-altering impact like this. The family is still in the first inning trying to navigate Emma Dukes care, continued support for Bo & George and all other challenging logistics.
Campbell and Michael are currently working with social workers on all resources that can provide help and hoping to get approved for medical flights, which will help alleviate Emma Dukes airfare costs.
