I recently received the Zoom capture video of Em’s October service, to which I am attaching a link here. The video quality is not high, but gives you a good idea of it all. In other news — I have had some conversations with the Community Foundation and we have agreed that the first stage of vesting Em’s fund is done. We are at about 51k for the permanent fund, which means it formally vests, and at current returns would generate about $2,500/yr. As we have more than 10k in the spendable fund, this means that there is more than enough (at 2.5k/yr) to cover the three-year gap until the permanent fund vests, with funds even left over that can be spent or be rolled into that fund at the end off the three-year period. This phase of this project is complete. Of course, we can always add more to the fund, and I hope people will do that over time, but the very good news is that we can now begin to put the generosity of all the donors to good use in bringing more ballet and modern dance to the Center, and in creating increased opportunities for ballet and modern education in CB, all under Em’s name.
