A quick plug for the pediatric cancer foundation that Ben and I founded in late 2019 and kicked off in early 2020. The Hoban Family Pediatric Cancer Foundation supports families whose children are going through cancer treatment and will help fund research for pediatric cancer drug development.

In 2020 we had several friends and family participate in a virtual triathlon to raise funds for our foundation and bring awareness to pediatric cancer, neuroblastoma specifically. We raised almost $5000. So far, these funds have been used to purchase visa cash cards for families who are in-patient in the oncology floor at Lurie Children’s. We will continue to provide cash cards throughout 2021.
