While 2020 has been unprecedented, it is so good to know that Ellie is doing so well.
It's not surprising to me that Ellie and Jenny looked forward to seeing the caregivers at Lurie. As a retired PA, it has been my experience that people who are being treated on a long term basis, (chemo, dialysis, post-transplant care, etc.) form a very special bond that is unlike any other. For me, it was always great to see former patients return for a visit. It was gratifying to see them doing well. I just had to comment on that.
